My favourite teaching moments are when a student, initially struggling and doubting their abilities, transforms into a confident learner. Witnessing their journey from frustration to understanding is immensely rewarding. It's exhilarating when they proudly declare, "I get it!" with joy illuminating their faces. I cherish these moments of breakthrough, knowing I've made a positive impact.
My memento is my school jersey emblazoned with the slogan "R U Wiz Me?" Mr G" - This slogan holds significance as it symbolises the rapport and trust I've built with my students. They bestowed it upon me due to my frequent requests for feedback during lessons. It reflects our collaborative journey of learning and underscores the importance of communication and understanding between teacher and student. This jersey serves as a reminder of the bond forged in the classroom and the collective efforts toward academic growth.
