A keepsake I treasure is an appreciation letter from a kindergarten student who spent a large quantity of their time to say “thank you” for everything. When teaching days are hard, I can look at this letter and it helps with my drive and to restore my love of teaching. We all teach for the students and nothing brings me greater joy than knowing they love and appreciate what we do for them.
